Nina DeMilta (She/her)

Hi! My name is Nina and I am a senior at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. I’m a voice primary and have a minor in interfaith studies. I’ve been apart of the MARAMTAS E-Board since my sophomore year and am incredibly excited to work with the MAR region as president! I’m originally from the Poconos, PA and some of my favorite things to do are read (currently getting into sci-fi and psychological thrillers) and binge-watch shows like Adventure Time, New Girl, and Parks and Rec. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve the student body in the MAR region!!


Nazarene Campodonico (They/them)

Hello, I'm Nazarene! My pronouns are they/them, and I am a junior at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. I am a voice primary with a minor in gerontology. I am very excited to serve on the E-board for another term and work with other students in the region! When not focusing on music, I love cooking, baking, and writing! I look forward to advocating for both students and music therapy for the next two terms!


Eliza Shriver (She/her)

Eliza Shriver (she/her) is a student at SUNY Fredonia and an incoming intern at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester, NY. In addition to Music Therapy, she has completed majors in Psychology and Applied Bassoon. She enjoys swing dancing, playing in chamber ensembles, and learning about research. Eliza has been representing Fredonia’s club chapter for the past three years and is honored to be expanding her advocacy for student music therapists into the regional and professional communities.


Maddie Berkle (She/her)

Parliamentarian
A Richmond, Virginia native, Maddie Berkle is a senior music therapy major at Shenandoah University. In addition, she is pursuing a minor in biology and a certificate in vocal performance. Maddie has served as Secretary and Chapter Representative for Shenandoah University Music Therapy Association and as a Hornet Ambassador through Shenandoah's Office of Admissions. Outside of academics, Maddie works as a section leader for The Valley Chorale of Front Royal and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, serving on her church praise team, and exploring the Winchester area. In the future, Maddie hopes to work in a medical music therapy setting. She is super excited to serve on the MAR-AMTS Board this year!

My name is Cierra (They/She) and I am a senior music therapy student at Elizabethtown College. I am a violin primary and I love to play songs on my ukulele. I'm very excited to be apart of the MAR-AMTS executive board!


Lindsay Berbert (They/them)

Hi! My name is Lindsay and I am a sophomore music therapy major at Nazareth University in my home city of Rochester, NY. My primary instrument is the tuba with a secondary in guitar. I love to hike, go for walks with my dog and I am an avid fantasy consumer. I look forward to seeing what all of us can accomplish together.


Zacharia Arsalane (He/they)

I was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and have had an interest in music and psychology as long as I can remember. My primary instrument in jazz voice, and I am one only three in the jazz program out of 100+ students in Temple University's Music Therapy Program. I am extremely passionate about the work music therapists do, and it is important that people know more about music therapy. I love working with improvisational methods, and I am currently drawn to Nordoff-Robbins music therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy informed music therapy.

 
Maya Indarjit (She/her)

Maya Indarjit attends Montclair State University, currently interning  at RVNAhealth, a hospice group located in Ridgefield, Connecticut. She is a saxophone primary who loves to perform in her free time. Outside of her passion for the saxophone, Maya loves to learn about music therapy. She looks forward to defining herself as a future music therapist as she completes her internship!

​Hi, my name is Nicole Pinnella and I am a senior music therapy major at Elizabethtown College. I spent the last summer researching music therapy with veterans and hope to work with veterans in the future. I love my role as historian because I get to facilitate historical research and advocacy within the historian committee!

Meghan Smith, MT-BC (She/they)

Meghan Smith, MT-BC (she/they) is currently serving as the Student Affairs Advisor for the MAR! She graduated from Temple University in 2018, and interned at The Center for Discovery. While in college, Meg served on the MAR-AMTS board as Secretary, President-Elect, and then President. Meg recently completed their master's degree in music therapy at Montclair State University, and works at The Center for Discovery in Harris, New York. Meg's favorite thing about MAR-AMTS is creating connections with students all over the region!
